From Matthew 24:4, if you look closely, you will see the work of the four horsemen of Revelations, and it puts them into a timeline. All four horsemen are working up until Jesus’s return and becoming more active as the Day of the Lord approaches.
White Horseman.
The first event in Revelation's seals is the White Horseman. His purposes are the deception of Christians. Also, the introduction of a new gospel is one of his purposes. And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray”. This started in 1844 and is even stronger today.
Red Horseman.
Next is the Red Horseman. “And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet”.
He will become more active as the end approaches. The word says that if these days were not shortened, there would be no survivors.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, The black horseman has control of finance and politics. He made his appearance in the 1920s, which saw the battle between so-called Communists and capitalism and banking with the introduction of the bond system of raising money. This caused the bondage of nations, especially the poorer nations.
Then, lastly, the green or pale horseman. And there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. The first three horsemen deal with people through religion, war, and politics. This horseman is dealing with the earth and nature itself. The earth rejects mankind for their wickedness, as warned about in Deuteronomy.
24:8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. The horsemen are setting up the conditions for the second coming to happen. This clearly shows that the horsemen were at work before the last seven years.
