Matt 24:29 says, Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light. The tribulation has finished, and Jesus will return. He will appear in the heavens, and all men will be terrified. Then the Lord's angels gather the elect from the earth. The wicked are harvested.
Matt 24:39 says, “And they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left. Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
With his coming, this gathering will take place. Not a long time before, only moments. I have come to despise the word rapture. It is only making the saints unprepared to endure to the end. The Antichrist is given authority only over the things of this world. Money, buildings, food, and the like. Jesus is still with us, and we will still have spiritual authority, perform miracles, and cast out demons. The Antichrist will make war on the saints and prevail over them. That is not saying that he will send someone around to beat you. It is saying that on the battlefield, which is reaching out to the lost, we will come second. Many will be saved, but unfortunately, most will not be able to hear or see the truth. Just means you are going to have to work twice as hard.
