Rivers Poisoned

The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood. This must be bad, for there is some extra wording, saying things like ‘you have given them blood (poison) to drink’ and ‘your judgements are just’. Rev 8 says ‘and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water’.
The radioactive asteroid continues to poison the rivers and lakes. Many people die. An Angel says, “Just art thou in these thy judgements, thou who art and wast, O Holy One. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink.” The having shed the blood of the saints and the prophets would indicate somewhere where significant numbers of saints have been killed to receive special mention. That may give us some idea where this event will take place. The Middle East does not fit because of the water restrictions. Probably Europe if it hit a nuclear reactor. Central Africa, China, or Japan are not likely as they have not shed much blood of prophets. It needs to be a place of rivers, and they need to have shed the blood of prophets in large numbers near a lot of fresh water.
