Daniel's 70-week prophecy in Daniel 9 is famous because of its spectacular accuracy. It has three parts, of which the first two have come to pass as written. The third part has been a little more controversial, whether it has happened and we have not understood what was going on or if it is yet to happen. Let us have a look at what the words say.
Daniel 9-24 Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness.
9:25 Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks.
Seven weeks from this vision to the temple being built.
Daniel 9 26-27 “And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end, there shall be war.
'And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing.' Jesus will die on the cross, broken and alone.
That is 7 weeks plus 62 weeks, 69 in total. One to go.
'And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood,' The sentence starts with 'and' or in addition, the city, and the sanctuary are destroyed. We saw that happen in 70 AD. That means some events are to take place after the death of Christ and before the seventh week starts. The destruction of the temple and the sacking of Jerusalem certainly came in a flood.
'And to the end there shall be war.' We are shown there is a gap, with no indication how long this will be. The sentence is acting like a full stop, so what is written next will be the start of the last week or seven years.
Daniel 9-27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. The last week will be divided into two halves. Who is He? Satan or the angel as represented by the fourth Beast. It is not the Antichrist, for he shows up next. Whoever he is, open worship and money will be heavily controlled. It is not clear what is meant by sacrifice and offering.
Daniel 9-27 And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate. 'Desolations are decreed.' Everybody needs to be vaccinated with a DNA altering substance, a microchip, and Luciferase which is a substance that enables scanners to read your biometric number. You are being changed as a human being, and you no longer have Yahweh's name written in your DNA. The pandemic raised its head in February 2020 and the 1st of February 2020 was the start of the UK being out of the EU or where the situation concerning the UK, EU, and Russia meet the picture of the fourth Beast. More on that later.
The Antichrist, makes his appearance. This is what is referred to in Matthew 24. The call to flee the cities is not one of warning for those at the time of the destruction of the temple, but for now.
'Until the decreed end is poured out on the desolater.' Jesus returns.
