Rev 10:3-4 When he called out, the seven thunders sounded. And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.
Thunder is the sound that lighting makes. We see the flash, and then shortly after, we hear the thunder. The other day I had the unfortunate experience of being outside when the lighting was so close that I saw the flash and heard the thunder at the same time. When you are that close, you get a loud cracking sound as well. It was a heart-stopping experience to be that close to the power of God. John heard seven of them, but he was not allowed to write them down. The only reason I can see for that is that with the information he was unable to write down, there were things that could stop or interfere with the plans of God. The only people capable of doing that are Christians, with the powers given to them by God. We would use these powers to stop Satan’s plans. We will mention these powers in Satan Cast Down. Satan’s plans are part of God's purpose to bring about the events necessary to reveal the mysteries of God. We would not interfere deliberately, but accidentally. This wickedness must unfold as the plan has been set out. The new gospel must come to pass, and the white rider will see it happen.
It says that a different gospel will be preached in the last days. This poisonous gospel, this gospel of grace, and its evil sister, the gospel of prosperity. Probably even more metaphorical is the Gospel of John Lennon: “All you need is love”. While love is significant, our gospel is one of repentance, obedience, and consequences. People would rather not face the difficult end because they are so attached to their wealth. That will lead tens of millions into hell. It makes my stomach bitter, and I have not eaten it.
